The European consortium EuroNCAP resutados unveiled the latest crash tests by giving top score of five stars in safety Renault Captur. The Renault Captur, the first urban crossover Rombo designed by Laurens van den Acker and developed on the platform of the new Clio, received an excellent rating in the different areas assessed. In this case was tested a Renault Captur 1.0 Trendy LHD, 5-door hatchback. Getting an overall score of 80.5% with 88% in adult occupant protection, 79% for child occupant protection, 61% for pedestrian protection and 81% in systems security assistance.
The Captur is noted for efficiency following safety equipment:
- Front airbags for front seat passengers.
- Fitted seatbelts pretensioners and load limiters on front seats.
- 3-point seat belts with load limiters in outboard seating positions.
- Head airbags.
- Assistance speed limitation.
- Electronic Stability Control.
- Seat belt reminder for driver and passengers.
- 3-point Isofix attachments in the front passenger seat and in the rear side seats.
