Chevrolet Trax

The Chevrolet Trax, to be called Tracker in Latin America, received the maximum score of five stars in safety tests conducted by the European consortium EuroNCAP. The Chevrolet Tracker a modern compact urban SUV that combines the dynamic behavior of a car with off-road characteristics of an SUV, which has demonstrated excellent safety presataciones to get excellent scores on the different items evaluated. The Trax got the highest score in adult occupant protection with 94%, 85% in child occupant protection, 64% in pedestrian protection and 81% in systems security assistance.

The vehicle tested was a Chevrolet Trax LHD 1.7 LT Diesel with the following safety equipment: 

• Front belts with pretensioners.
• Belts 3 Points.
• Child Safety Lock.
• ISOFIX Child Seats.
• Descent Control (DCS).
• Electronic Traction Control (ETC).
• Front and side airbags for chest and head impact.
• Electronic Stability Control.
• Hill Start Control.
• Assistance speed limitation.
