The Geneva Motor Show was chosen by the Bavarian house to present the BMW Active Tourer Concept, a prototype plug-in hybrid minivan, which will be the first in this segment in its product portfolio. The BMW Concept Active Tourer has a medium sized model with 4,355 mm long, 1,865 mm wide and 1,565 mm high. Propulsion is the hybrid type combining an internal combustion engine of 1520 cm3 naftero three twinpower and electric cylinders. The first of these tractions the front while the will power back on.
This set allows you to dispense engine power of 190 hp and consumption reach values of the order of 2.5 l/100km. You can also run at a speed of 30 km / h in electric mode. The BMW Concept Active Tourer can be driven in three modes Comfort, Sport and Eco Pro, the latter disconnecting the gasoline engine.
The dashboard is digital type with a display of 10.25 inches, although it also has an acrylic sheet (Head Up Display) in which data are projected speed, navigation and infoentretenimientos between the equipment highlights a panoramic roof which can be obscured at will.
