The New Ford Ranger

The New Ford Ranger belongs to the new generation of vehicles produced under the strategy "One Ford" in which over a 4-year process, a global team consisting of Ford engineers and designers from around the world worked to develop this new pick-up. The New Ford Ranger is manufactured in three continents and sold in 180 markets worldwide.

The new Ford Ranger has three available engines and three transmission options, 2 3.2 diesel 200 hp and 125 hp 2.2 to 1 2.5 to 166 hp gasoline engine, manual gearboxes associated with 6 and 5-speed and 6-speed automatic. These engines were DEVELOPED in Aachen, Germany, and produced at the new Ford engine plant in General Pacheco, Argentina.

Equipment: The New Ford Ranger has five trim levels: XL, XL Safety, XLS, XLT and Limieted.

XL Equipment level: Consists of: bumper black, steel wheels 16-inch front tow hooks, rear tow hook. Inside features: Seat 60/40 bench in single cab, double cab bucket seats, upholstery and vinyl floor covering. XLS Equipment Level: Includes all equipment XL Safety plus: body-color bumpers and alloy wheels of 16 inches. Inside features: fabric upholstery "Livewire", center roof console, rear center armrest, integrated USB audio, iPod, Auxiliary, and Bluetooth. Electric Windows front and rear, adjustable driver seat 4-way manual, central locking with remote command and outside mirrors. On headlamps incorporating security and volumetric alarm rompenieblas.

Level XLT Equipment: Includes all equipment XLS more: alloy wheels 17 inches, San Antonio sports bar chrome, chrome side steps, chrome grille, door handles and chrome door. Inside are: upholstery fabric "Catalyst", cover of flat-resistant fabric, fabric mats, chrome interior door handles, center rear headrests, steering wheel and shift knob, leather upholstery, integrated voice, cruise control with command on the wheel, internal regulation height of headlamps, audi and telephone controls on the steering wheel and rear parking sensor. In safety includes six airbags: 2 front, 2 side and 2 curtain.

Limited Equipment Level: Includes all XLT equipment more: sports bar body color, box and rack guards. Inside, leather upholstery, multifunction screen 5 inch color HMI, integrated satellite navigation system, dual-zone automatic climate control, electric seat adjustment 8-position, electrically folding mirrors with turn signals and approach, rear parking camera, light sensor and rain, refrigerated console. The rear axle and electronic limited slip rear differential lock has 100%.
